Tips for the week of 1/20/14 – 1/26/14
Practice switching band and forth between 2 different keys/chords. Look at common tones and notes that change.
12 different ways to practice your major scales (or any scales)…
Don’t just blindly practice. Figure out WHY you are practicing something. If you don’t know, just ask.
Fill in the blank: “Today I would like to work on _________”
When learning to improvise start simple and then embellish.
