Tips for the week of 2/17/14 – 2/23/14
Try practicing in the dark.
Stuck on something? Try singing your part, then sing while you finger along, then play it again.
Remember: we are all trying to get better. So never compare yourself to others. Just work on being the best version of yourself.
Be careful of the 2 biggest lies we tell ourselves when practicing: “I’ll remember” (you won’t, write it down) and “it’s close enough”.
Balance your practice time between what you WANT to do and what you NEED to do.
If you really work at it, you can do anything. So, what do you want to do?
